ABOUT US

Interactive Community Alliance, Inc

Interactive Community Alliance, Inc., is a 501(c),(3) organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Florida. Its roots go back to 1994 when five people got together and organized a group under the name Centro Cultural Latinoamericano, Inc. Until 2014, CCL was known in Palm Beach County for offering educational and cultural programs to families. CCL was the first organization to provide the community with basic computer training seminars, how to start a business in collaboration with Florida Atlantic University (FAU), the first intergenerational program “Caminemos Juntos”, Health Fairs and, for more than 15 years, was the promoter of the Colombia Festival in Palm Beach County. At the beginning of the first decade of this millennium, CCL was affected by the economic crisis and on the verge of closing its doors. However, the Board of Directors, seeing the impact this would have on families, decided to restart with a new name. Thus, as of 2015, it continued to offer services under the name Interactive Community Alliance, Inc. to expand its reach to all people regardless of age, race, origin, immigration status or religious affiliation.

Interactive Community Alliance, Inc. (ICA), serves Palm Beach’s neediest children, youth and adults through Education, Health, Community Safety and Community Referrals programs, with the goal of improving the quality of life for families and being a resilient and united community to meet the challenges of change.
