She also has a Master of Arts in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies and a Master of Science in Public Health in Occupational Exposure Science from the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Over 17 years of work experience in companies in the chemical, metallurgical, food sectors, and academia as head of the Occupational Safety and Health (SST) department. Ana María holds a degree in Psychology from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia), a specialization in Business Administration from Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia), a Master’s degree in Human Talent Management from the Center for Financial Studies (Barcelona, Spain), a Certification in Human Resources Management from the University of Miami (USA), and is a certified coach by the Academy of Coaching and Holistic Leadership (HLCA) in Miami (USA).

With over twenty years of executive leadership experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development Departments in Colombian and multinational companies, across the telecommunications, steel, large-scale mining, and food sectors, Ana María is an expert in designing strategies and leading corporate projects. Her career spans the development of leaders and employees at all levels through training and leadership strategies. She also excels as a consultant in strategic direction and planning for startups, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

He is a seasoned safety professional with over 15 years of experience in the field. With a background focused on both domestic and international projects, he has developed expertise across various safety aspects, including PPE, heat illness, arc flash, and fall protection. Currently serving as a Territory Manager for Guardian Fall Protection, Mauricio oversees operations in Florida, the Caribbean, and Central and South America, dedicating his efforts to representing Guardian Fall Protection, and ensuring comprehensive safety standards in the region.

Gynecologist-Obstetrician from the University of Valparaíso, with a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Biochemistry from Universidad Mayor, and holding the 2021 International CSSN Certification, ISAK Level II, and Nutritionist Instructor. Director of SST Services at Prevsis and responsible for the multidisciplinary functional implementation of complex Health and Safety projects in Latin America, covering the implementation of technological health monitoring workflows for employees in corporate settings.

Se graduó en producción de medios visuales en el Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale y obtuvo su título en radiodifusión en el City College, Broward. Su carrera en televisión comenzó en 2003 en PBS WXEL 42, donde realizó una pasantía y luego se trasladó a WPTV. Durante su tiempo en WPTV, Mahecha tuvo la oportunidad de presentar “Hablando con la Comunidad”, un programa en español que lo llevó a interesarse en meteorología. Motivado por su interés en el clima y su deseo de servir a la comunidad hispana, obtuvo la certificación de la NOAA para producir informes de huracanes en español.

 En 2006, se unió a Radio Fiesta y más tarde asumió el cargo de director en Azteca 48 WWHB. En Azteca 48, creó y produjo “Enfoque Comunitario”, un programa que destacó por su compromiso con el servicio público y que recibió reconocimiento en el condado. Además de su trabajo en televisión, Mahecha ha contribuido con artículos para The SENTINEL y ha participado en varias estaciones de radio en el sur de Florida. Actualmente, es reconocido por su trabajo en CBS12 News, donde presenta un noticiero de 30 minutos que aborda temas relevantes para la comunidad hispana.
