With over 40 years of experience in the United States, Martha Pardo has woven a legacy of profound impact on the Hispanic community. An artist at heart and a leader by vocation, she has devoted her life to transforming the reality of thousands of immigrants through art, education, entrepreneurship, and access to essential services.

In the 1990s, she was part of a prominent collective of Colombian artists and directed the Latin American Cultural Center, where she created spaces of unity and identity such as the celebration of Colombia’s Independence Day and the Festival of the Americas, which brought together more than 1,500 people across five memorable editions.

As a pioneer of economic empowerment, she launched groundbreaking workshops on how to start a business through her organization, guiding hundreds of immigrants to turn their ideas into real ventures. This spirit of action also led her to found and lead, for 15 years, the Festival de Colombia, an emblematic event that gathered more than 3,000 people each year, featuring renowned artists such as Orquesta Guayacán, Jorge Celedón, and Orquesta Niche.

Likewise, Martha was a pioneer in bringing the Mobile Consulates to Palm Beach County. For more than 15 years, in partnership with the Consulate of Mexico, she has worked to facilitate access to consular services for fellow nationals, especially those in vulnerable situations. Under her leadership, community health fairs have been promoted and developed, offering free or low-cost medical, legal, and social services and benefiting more than 4,500 people. These initiatives have allowed thousands of immigrant families to access essential resources for their well-being and development with dignity.

Martha has also been a trusted, close voice on the radio. She hosted the program “Saber y Salud Familiar en Acción”, accompanying thousands of listeners every Saturday with messages of hope, practical tools, and the participation of local and international experts.

She currently leads the Interactive Community Alliance (ICA), where she continues to develop transformative programs that uplift, connect, and inspire the community. Her work has been recognized with the Palm Beach County Leading Businesswoman award, cementing her legacy as a tireless advocate for the growth, dignity, and rights of immigrant families.
