Creciendo Juntos Now Has an Improved Version

Starting in 2025, Creciendo Juntos evolves with a new version that further strengthens the development of emotional intelligence and parent-child communication. This program now includes a nutrition course from the University of Florida, through the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP).

In this new format, the program includes seven sessions. Participants attend University of Florida classes to learn about healthy eating, grocery planning, and strategies to improve their nutritional well-being. After each session, they receive a Creciendo Juntos module that explores the connection between emotions and nutrition.

Free Nutrition Course – UF/IFAS EFNEP

Learn to eat smart, be active, and live well with UF/IFAS EFNEP! The University of Florida’s Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (UF/IFAS EFNEP) offers six completely free classes to support limited-resource families in building healthy habits and making informed lifestyle choices.

Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Program

In partnership with Florida International University (FIU), Interactive Community Alliance (ICA) invites you to join the Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Program, designed to help you grow your career in the industry.

Construction Project Manager

Language: Spanish

Requirements: High School Diploma and current employment in the construction industry

Schedule: Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
